Nice hotel with a wonderful breakfast.

The breakfast and the possibility to sit outside and have a view of the ocean was great.

The safe in the room costs extra, should be included in the price.

Good option for a calm stay with a great view

Amazing sea and nature view from the sea view rooms and pool, very close to a beautiful beach, good dinner, very nice staff, mostly very calm

Rooms and breakfast are pretty basic, pool bar menu could be better (more healthy options), A/C had a strange smell

What was the highlight of HSM Regana

Great location but overall wouldn’t recommend

Location for Cala agulla and particularly Cala molto is fantastic. Breakfast was great, tonnes of fresh fruit and loads of options. Rooms were pretty big and aircon was fantastic. There were pretty much always loungers available at the pool despite it being peak season.

Not speaking German was a bit of an issue for us - very few staff spoke English which meant a lot of stuff wasn’t properly explained to us (eg needing a key for the gate to the beach). The dinner buffet was heavily leaning to German tastes and a bit meh. No free drinking water at dinner was a bit rubbish and didn’t give the impression of a 4 star hotel at all. The loungers at the pool were pretty uncomfortable and a number needed replacing. Our room was clearly next to a pipe and had constant dripping noises all night which was incredibly annoying.

Very helpfull personel. Very beautiful bay. Good Location. No screaming children and prosecco for Breakfast.

No drinking water for example in a lobby, water in the rooms only on a first day. It’s an „adults only hotel”, but to be honest i thought there will be a chance for a party, to meet somebody or more young people.

What was the highlight of HSM Regana

This hotel is a great choice if you are looking for a calm and relaxing vacation.

- Staff is exceptional: helpful, super friendly and always smiling - Cleanliness: usually the weak point in majority of the hotels but in Regana it is above expectation, everyday the room was as the new one! - Breakfast and dinner are good enough, of course there will be repetition of the options, but it is various enough to not be bored for one week. - Location is great, I highly recommend to book the room with the sea view. Also the beach is close by, just 5 minutes of walk. The fact that Regana is placed on the edge of the city is a big plus to me. - There are always some activity in hotel, which might be loud, but they finish it around 22:30 - Transfer can be ordered by the personal (keep in mind the request should be made in 72h before the transfer)

Nothing much, just one tip: - coffee on the breakfast is not perfect as they use powder milk in the coffee machines, workaround - 2 espresso + normal milk from buffet. (would be great if they can serve filtered coffee though)

Didn't want to leave.. wonderful experience. Would go back.

This hotel looked good on the photos, but they did not do it justice. We were given a room on the 7th floor with the sea view (can highly recommend room 710). Stunning views day and night overlooking the bay and beach of Cala Agulla. Room was extremely quiet when you closed the doors. We never heard the guests in the rooms around us, and the balcony is private. Shower and bathroom is lovely, and the A/C is easy to control independently in the room to get the desired temperature you want. The room at first felt a little small, but we got used to it and found it more than comfortable overall. Can't say enough good things about the staff. Always friendly and greeting with a smile. Also were more than happy to help us with a last minute bus transfer back to Palma. Super! Bar and snack service at the pool was excellent with good value food offerings - I even asked for a custom ice coffee which they were happy to do. Very easy to spend the whole day around the pool when the sea is rough or too windy. We had Half Board, which was perfect. So much to offer for both breakfast and dinner, we were never bored with the selection even after 11 nights when the food 'specials' repeated itself each week. Also really lovely eating on the open air terrace overlooking the sea. There is live entertainment almost every night both at this hotel and neighbouring ones, but this generally is finished 2230-2300, so getting to sleep was not an issue if you wanted an early start to the day. Location is great, with lots of restaurants within short walk for lunch. HOT TIP: If you are going to the beach, ask reception if they have any beach umbrellas, as they have a few they can lend you free of charge. Overall a lovely stay, so we didn't want to leave. There were only a few minor niggles which is why I scored it a 9 and not a 10. (see what I didn't like).

A few (very) small things: Would be nice to have a tissue box in the room for a 4 star hotel. Yes, I can bring or buy my own tissues, but had to use toilet paper if I needed an alternative. Sometimes the fresh fruit served at both breakfast and dinner was either very under-ripe or a little over-ripe. There was not one day that the Mango was ripe. Just weird why they still serve it. One evening the grilled prawns were mushy, but the next week they were excellent and fresh. If I used the water in the shower at full pressure, the temperature went hot and cold. I had to use approx 1/3 pressure for consistent temperature. Still adequate pressure. Wifi signal is strong but the speed is very very slow for this day and age.

Wonderful

The room with sea and swimming pool view was excellent. The pool area was very relaxing and taken care of. Nice beach nearby with 4 min walk. The breakfast and dinner was very tasty and there was a lot of choice for dinner - every day you could try different dish and nice desserts. The whole hotel and the room was super clean. Staff was polite and helpful. If you not a fan of huge crowded noisy hotels but ones with great atmosphere I would strongly recommend Regana. It offers even entertainment in some evenings that is not boring and cheesy but fun. Very nice stay!

Coffee at the breakfast could be a bit better, but hey - it is Spain not Italy:) Air conditioning in the room might need some cleaning. Overall nothing to really complain about.

Good and relaxing, hotel has some real potential, but some improvements to be made

As a person with celiac disease, having gluten-free options available for breakfast and dinner is important to me. The buffet provided dedicated gluten-free cornflakes and Schar cakes in a separate basket during breakfast. Every meal, I asked the chef about which dishes were safe to eat and they were always willing to explain. The fresh fruits and salad bar were a highlight of the buffet, along with the live grilling of some meat and fish. The terrace offered an amazing view for breakfast and dinner, giving a feeling of being on a cruise ship. On some evenings, there was live music, which started earlier than expected, around 8 pm. The rooms were well-organized and equipped with basic amenities, and the sea-view rooms provided a fantastic view. The pool area had enough space and sunbeds for everyone, and the staff was friendly. The hotel's location was great, as Cala Agulla was within walking distance, while Cala Mesquida was a short drive away. Across the hotel, there were supermarkets, tourist shops and a few restaurants. Cala Rajada is a cosy tourist resort.

It would be helpful to have a designated area for gluten-free foods to prevent cross-contamination. Additionally, signs indicating allergens present in each dish would greatly benefit those with allergies. The water temperature in the shower is unstable and needs to be fixed, as it can suddenly turn very hot or cold. A group of young single men playing loud music in the pool area was disturbing to other hotel guests, but hotel personnel did not take action to address the issue. The coffee at breakfast could be improved, as it does not match the quality of the rest of the food/hotel. The mattresses are quite hard, and while they can be replaced, it is not an easy process. There is no room service or option to bring food into the rooms. The cleanliness of the rooms could also be improved, as there were dirty spots on the floor vinyl and walls. It was unpleasant to find our bathroom window opening up onto someone else's terrace. Smoking should be prohibited on the restaurant's terrace during eating hours and in the pool area, as only 27% of people smoke nowadays and the other 73% are burdened with secondhand smoke. Overall, improvements are necessary, but the allowance of smoking in the restaurant and the risk of cross-contamination with food are the most concerning issues.

Had a lovely time at HSM Regana and would not hesitate coming again.

Hotel room was very nice and modern, with comfortable beds and space to hang clothes. Bathroom was clean and satisfactory. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Swimming pool area was great too. Lastly, the complimentary breakfasts provided were excellent, with a variety of options available. Seaview from the canteen further adds to the experience.

The electricity in the room was temperamental, some plugs did not work.

Excellent buffet, and super friendly personel, they really care that you are confortable. Excellent WIfi connection in case you need to join a videoconference. Great access to the beach (cala agulla), and great swimming pool.

Noisy fridge that we had to disconnect. The water temperature was unstable, sometimes very hot, and others very cold.

What was the highlight of HSM Regana

Wonderful

One of the highlights of this hotel is its location-7 mins away from the entrance to the Cala Agulla Beach on foot + spectacular views during the meals and from the rooms. Additionally, the hotels and other buildings around are not crazy party spots - so it is relatively quiet and you can rest at night. If you want to walk to the other town, it is 15 mins away, a small supermarket is across the street and there is a bigger one 7 mins away on foot. The staff who works there is really helpful and friendly. It is also very convenient that you don't have to worry about choosing which restaurant to go every day (and they can get very crowded). The quantity and the choice of food never disappointed. The rooms are very clean and have everything one needs. They have a small fridge and a safe, also convenient.

Generally, we were satisfied with food, especially breakfast and fresh fruit and vegetables. However, some seafood sometimes was rather average and I wish I could have tried a bigger variety of local meals. It is also a pity that every staff member automatically assumes everybody speaks German, but this is very common in general (not specific to this hotel) - a pity for losing the authenticity of local culture...
